What does the PTO do?
As a Dallin parent or caregiver, you’re automatically part of the PTO – no admission necessary.

Our goals are to:
Provide enrichment opportunities that supplement the curriculum
Sponsor community-building events for Dallin families
Fundraise to support our students, school, and classroom needs through our Annual Fund and Spirit Wear sales (bring cash or check to Curriculum Night to purchase!)

When does the PTO meet?
The PTO meets six times during the year.  We will have a combination of morning and evening meetings to accommodate schedules.  The meetings will have various topics that will be selected to help caregivers understand and engage with the broader school community.  Our first meeting is scheduled for 7PM on October 12 at Dallin.

How do I connect with other families in the Dallin community?
That’s easy: Sign up for and browse our family directory, which allows you to search for classmates and friends by name, grade, teacher, et cetera.

Where do I find information about the PTO?

  • Visit our website for up-to-date PTO info on events, volunteer opportunities, information on grade-specific Facebook groups, and to get the Dallin Digest.
  • Follow us on Facebook and on Twitter

What’s the Dallin Digest?
It’s our newsletter, full of useful Dallin news. Sign up on our website and get it emailed weekly.

I want to volunteer! How?

The PTO is powered by volunteers. Browse our array of opportunities and please sign up. It’s a great way to participate in the life of your student’s school, on your own time. Email us dallinptoboard@gmail.com with feedback and ideas.

I’m not getting any Dallin or APS emails! Why?

Official emails from Dallin and APS are sent to the email addresses provided when your student registered at APS. Sometimes these emails are routed to Spam or Promotions folders in Gmail. Email Mrs. Burns (sburns@arlington.k12.ma.us) for help.
