Communication Guidelines

When advertising an event, asking for donations and/or recruiting volunteers, please:

~2 – 3 WEEKS BEFORE EVENT:

  1. Send an email describing event, and volunteer or donation requests (if needed) to the school secretary, Susan Burns (sburns@arlington.k12.ma.us) to send via School Messenger.
  2. Send an email describing event, and volunteer or donation requests to the website coordinator, Autumn Bouck (abouck@gmail.com) to post on the website and link to SignUp.com (if needed)
  3. Send an email describing event, and volunteer or donation requests to the Weekly Dallin Newsletter by emailing dallinnewsletter@gmail.com  (please remember the deadline is the Wednesday(12AM) before the Friday you want it to be published.

~1 WEEK BEFORE EVENT:

  1. Send an updated reminder email to Susan Burns (sburns@arlington.k12.ma.us) to send message via School Messenger.
  2. If volunteers or donations are still needed, send an updated reminder email to Crystal Yan, Room Parent Coordinator (crystal.tom@gmail.com ) to forward to Room Parents.  This email should have a specific, updated request in subject line and updates to the body of email, not just a repetition of previous requests.
